Mr. Sherif has accumulated more than 20 years of professional experience throughout MENA, GCC, Africa and Far East; holding senior executive managerial positions and nominated Executive Committee Board Member for the largest and most prestigious organizations across MENA and GCC regions: Arab African International Bank (AAIB) in Egypt, Global Investment House (GIH) in Kuwait and Dubai Banking Group (Investment arm for Dubai Holding) in Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Malaysia and Cayman Islands.

In July 2019, was nominated as Group Chief Investment Officer and Group Corporate Treasurer and Group Excecutive Committee Board Member beside Acting Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Universal Holding For Financial Investments in Egypt, UAE and Africa.

Has initiated the establishment and incorporation of Al Fouz Investment Company in Kuwait overlooking the overall development of largest real estate project in Kuwait; Phase III of Al Khairan Pearl City – Sabah Al Ahmad Sea with a total investment costs of US$ 9.66B in addition to other cross border investments.

The variation of the exposure among different industries with AUM for Multi-Billions US$ such as Banking, Financial Services, Investment, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Home Appliances, Oil & Gas and Consultancy has developed and built Mr. Sherif robust knowledge covering various areas including but not limited to: Banking & Corporate Treasury Management, Corporate Finance, Investment Management, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Trading, ALM, Hedging (FX and Interest Rate), Syndicated Facilities, Financial Restructuring, Fund Raising, Structured Products, Banking Relationships and Consulting covering large organizations in multi geography and multi-currency global set up.
